You may have a different business in mind that would like to help with your fundraiser. To refer a business to join our program, please email sales@myjoecard.com or call 913-271-2955, and we will follow up with the decision-maker at the business.

2. Sharpen your saw!
Embrace the excitement, spirit and opportunity of this True 100% Fundraiser! People get burnt out selling the same candy bars and coupon books that promote a handful of businesses.
3. Begin with the end in mind!
Assess your needs, decide how much money to raise, organize your participants, set realistic sales goals, and use deadlines frequently to monitor progress.
4. List your 'Top 20'!
Have everyone make a list of their first 20 potential buyers.
5. Ask everyone to find a way to make a difference!
Let parents and family members know how important they are to the success of your good cause! Ask for volunteers! Parents are a wealth of knowledge, experience, and resources.
6. Advertise!
Make sure people know YOUR FUNDRAISING PROFIT MARGIN and HOW THE FUNDRAISER BENEFITS THE CHILDREN! Share your exciting program with all parents and people involved! 7. Be passionate!
As easy as fundraising can be with a supportive community and a winning program, people respond to positive energy, and enthusiasm is catching!
8. Throw a party!
Get participants together for food, and give everyone a chance to have an active part in brainstorming and discussing ideas. If everyone has a hand in putting together a sales plan, they will also share a sense of ownership in the success of the fundraiser!
9. Make it an event!
If it drags out, your people will lose interest. Figure in enough time to allow for two full weekends. Many of your valuable volunteers may need that extra time to work participation into their schedule, but don’t let your ‘event’ become ‘The Thing That Wouldn’t Leave’.
10. Reward your participants!
Make the most of your fundraising program’s incentives! Form your group into teams to promote “friendly competition” for group prizes, and also give everyone a chance to win by meeting an individual sales ‘quota’.
